BAIRAVI FOUNDATION

Bairavi Foundation is a registered organization registered under Indian Trust Act in 2012, Since then we are focusing our activities towards the women organization groups, joint liability groups and children clubs. As the part of working for health sanitation, we are celebrating the International Health Day, International Environmental Day in collaboration with Forest Department and Environment Department of Govt of Tamilnadu.

Solid Waste Management

One of our areas of expertise has been the Solid Waste Management. We have taken up this programme in town panchayats in kanyakumari District. The clean India campaign is taken up on a massive scale in kanyakumari District and we are the allies of taking this initiative to the villages among Kanyakumari.

Door to Door collection segregation and vermin compositing of swatch bharath programmes were conducted in more than ten places with the help of department of forest, Ministry of environment and Kanyakumari district national green corps.

Training Program

There are 146 workers currently working in Bairavi foundation with all benefits such as ESI and EPF.Agri training was given to 8000 women by agricultural officer DR. Rajkumar, He has given the training of Roof top garden, Natural farming techniques, Traditional Agricultural techniques were taught for green earning.

Beautician Training was given to more than 200 women through some source and some of them are having their own shops now and others are doing it as a part time.

Tailoring and Aari work training was given to more than 100 women and many of them are working from home and earn a good amount of money.

Dance training was given to 150 children and they have successfully completed their training and some of them are performing on the stage as well as social media.

Our many programmes are executed with national green corps also tree planting programme has done for the last five years with the plantation of more than 2 lakhs trees yet.

As the part of encouraging children we are arranging an Eco-Tours for children with competitions. Competitions are conducted in various domains like drawing, Quiz and environment expo.

World Environment day

We are celebrating a World environment day every year since 2013 with the support of Forest Department, Department of Environment and National Green Corps. The district Forest officer and other dignitaries used to attend the function. The action programmes to the local needs of the society are being conducting regularly from our BAIRAVI FOUNDATION has providing lights, digging bore wells and also constructing roads in villages, Cleaning public places are the extra works engaged by the workers of the BAIRAVI FOUNDATION, So many people are getting benefited by this programmes.

The Village Potential Leadership Training

This was a training programme arranged in each village, from the each village of the target area; we had selected twenty women for training every month. Horticulture and Agriculture were the main subjects of the training programme. The women participants were highly benefited by attending these training programmes.

We ensure to take this all programmes in a massive scale and we are having a promise to do all the good deeds to the society to help the unprivileged people.
